is a large premier international marketing and design agency known for crafting digital products and strategies for industry giants including Apple and Google, their Portland office space is a work of art all its own. Every surface inspires focus and creativity through aesthetic minimalism. However, their previous internal workflow relied on video conferencing solutions that would at times fail, all the while clashing with their sleek office aesthetic. The technology had to be reliable and functional without being visible or distracting.

The Challenge

Hiding Technology in Plain Sight
The core mission was to retrofit the main conference room with state of the art audio visual capabilities while keeping all UI, and supporting infrastructure extremely minimized but preferably completely invisible. Work & Co wanted a Zoom Room that didn't require a messy and complex "mission control" setup to operate. They needed a consistant simple reliable experience as easy as pushing a button, rather than navigating through monotonous redundant menus, or wrestling with ugly exposed cabling.

The Solution

Aesthetic Concealment Meets Altona Automation
Three pillars we constantly focus on are Planning, Installation, and User Experience.

• Invisible Infrastructure: We engineered a solution where every piece of technology was concealed inside the walls and existing infrastructure. The result was a clean, uncluttered room that retains its high end design integrity while performing like a broadcast AV control center.
• One-Touch Automation: Utilizing the Altona Velocity automation system, we replaced a complicated setup routine with a single push of a button. One press brings up the projector screen, activates the video conferencing array, and sets the stage for a meeting instantly. There was no longer any NASA level coordination required just to start a remote meeting.
• Crystal Clear Audio & Video: We installed the Shure MXA 320 table array paired to capture every voice in the room without requiring individual microphones for each person. Complementing this was ambient audio via BOSE Soundbars, ensuring that even while not holding a meeting, the office hummed along with professional grade sound.
