The Venue & The Challenge

Located in the heart of a local Portland faith community, Northwest Gospel is not just any worship space. Built specifically with audience listening experience in mind, the venue features approximately 1,000 acoustic panels integrated directly into the building's architecture, with a rake seating configuration designed for superior consistent sound distribution.

Because the room was engineered for high fidelity audio from day one, the goal wasn't to force sound through an unfriendly space, it was to ensure that when the system played, it matched or exceeded the venue's natural acoustic potential. The challenge was to get the gear placed perfectly without obstructions and tune a massive rig to perfection in a room already optimized for sound.

High Output Rig Configuration

The installed system featured Fulcrum Acoustic’s signature AHC 2 high-output horns, Double 8 mid-range speakers, and multiple Double 18 subwoofers all paired with Lab.gruppen amplification. This configuration was chosen to deliver powerful, clear audio across every seat in the house.

Installation & Tuning
